Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled External Support Specialist for Accreditation and Configuration Management to join our team at Vector Synergy. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing configurations, inventories, and security of networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management processes to track software and hardware assets across the organization.
  2. Configuration Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date configuration management practices, including tools and methodologies for controlling software and hardware inventory.
  3. Network Device Management: Manage and maintain network devices and systems, including VLANs, subnets, and network topologies.
  4. Security Optimization: Optimize security settings on on-prem and on-cloud services to ensure the highest level of security and compliance.
  5. Reporting and Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and reports to support configuration management and security efforts.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
  2. Experience: At least 3-5 years of practical experience in similar roles, with a proven ability to manage configurations, inventories, and security of networks and systems.
  3. Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and proven Server Administration skills.
  4. Desirable: Ability to efficiently and proactively solve complex problems, precision and accuracy in managing technical data and configurations, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
