Position Overview

The Technical Sales Engineer independently carries out all commercial, organizational, and administrative activities that lead to sales. Customer acquisition on the product range of Hyva is also part of this job.

This role will be a key part of the commercial team that manages channel development and growth in the whole area of central and southern Italy. Delivering greater market share through our key partners is a key contributor to the success of HYVA Group.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the sales strategy for your area, overseeing the full sales cycle from identifying opportunities to successfully closing deals.
  • Secure and grow revenue within a select group of key distributors.
  • Effective channel management to increase HYVA's market share within coding and marking in these key distributors.

  • Lead tracking and reporting of business KPIs in all submitted territory.
  • Generate leads and proactive sales by executing against your promotional and networking events and activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical or business field.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar position working for the international market supplier/automotive distributor as an account manager or in product management.
  • Technical background is a nice to have. Strong understanding of the regional and national automotive market as well as the products, trends, and customer needs.
  • Analytical mindset, strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creative and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills (min 3 years).
