About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team at Palo Alto Networks, Inc. as a Major Account Manager FSI. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and orchestrating large complex sales cycles, working closely with our internal partners and teams to best serve our customers in the Financial Services Industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Engagements: Lead and drive sales engagements with our customers in the Financial Services Industry, identifying business challenges and creating solutions to meet their needs.
  • Consultative Selling: Utilize your consultative selling experience to understand the competitive landscape and customer needs, effectively positioning our portfolio of solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Develop a detailed territory plan, creating clear goals and accurate forecasting to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Value Proposition: Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition, highlighting the value of our solutions for each specific account.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry news and trends, understanding how they affect our products and services.
  • Travel and Collaboration: Travel as necessary within your territory and to company-wide meetings, collaborating with our internal teams to drive sales success.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in selling complex solutions, value selling, and consultative sales techniques, with a strong understanding of SaaS-based architectures and the Financial Services Industry.
  • Technical Aptitude: Demonstrated technical aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to cultivate relationships with our channel partners to bring a channel-centric go-to-market approach for our customers.
  • Problem Solving: Identifies problems, reviews data, determines the root causes, and provides scalable solutions.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
