About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Control Field Service Specialist to join our team at Baker Hughes Gruppe. As a key member of our Industry Energy Technology team, you will play a critical role in providing quality service to our customers and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction for activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
  • Oversee, overhaul, troubleshoot, and commission our rotating equipment and products at customer sites.
  • Prepare and update technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure internal training, compliance, and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.
  • Properly manage company digital tools to retrieve technical documents and manage packing lists, bills of material, and drawings.
  • Under direct supervision, receive and follow specific detailed instructions.
  • Learns and assists other crew members during installation and/or maintenance activities in the field at customer sites.
  • Be responsible for learning how to execute maintenance/installation of IET rotating equipment and assist other crew members in performing the assigned scope of work.
  • Primarily interact with assigned mentors or direct supervisors and other specialists/supervisors in the group.
  • Execute all required responsibilities safely and as instructed by direct supervisors and follow all IET Gas Technology Service applicable processes and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.
Requirements
  • A few years of experience in an Electrical/Electronic role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).
  • Hold an Electric/Electronic Technical degree or Engineering degree.
  • Have basic knowledge of main control systems such as PLC or similar.
  • Have some hands-on experience in the field or in engineering.
  • Be able to read technical drawings and schematics.
  • Be fluent in Italian and have professional proficiency in English.
  • Be ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restrictions (domestic & international), including offshore facilities.
