At Prada Group, we are seeking a skilled Logistics Purchasing Specialist to join our team. This role is a key part of our Logistics Division, responsible for managing the selection, negotiations, and contractual aspects of suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential suppliers of logistics services;
  • Develop and implement global tender processes to allocate logistics services;
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department Manager to negotiate with suppliers and drive cost savings;
  • Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives in the logistics area, working closely with the Purchasing Department Manager and Group Sustainability Director;
  • Review and optimize existing agreements with suppliers to improve quality of service, costs, and security;
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve supplier service, working closely with Retail and Industrial Logistics Managers;
  • Monitor supplier performance, implementing systems to measure and track key performance indicators;
  • Manage accounting aspects with suppliers, liaising with internal Controlling and Administration functions to optimize payment processes;
  • Draft periodic reports on the main activities of the purchasing function, including cost monitoring, supplier turnover, and key performance indicators achieved.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics or Management Engineering;
  • 2-5 years of experience in logistics;
  • Fluent English;
  • Good knowledge of office software, including stealth and SAP packages;
  • Proactivity, curiosity, and teamwork skills;
  • Focused on details;
  • Organizational, analytical skills, and ability to summarize and prioritize tasks.
