Knitwear & Jersey Development Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the product development team at TN Italy as a Fashion Product Development Lead. The successful candidate will play a critical role in bringing design concepts to life through meticulous planning, execution, and quality assurance throughout the product development lifecycle.

You will be responsible for collaborating with the Design team to ensure that design concepts are feasible and aligned with business goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coding of models, compiling bills of materials, and transferring information to suppliers.
  • Processing data related to prototype and BOM development (PLM System).
  • Supporting in the management of PLM System (data entry, amendments, updates, etc.).
  • Assisting in the management of requests from the Design team (insertion in the system, updating on the collection board, etc.).
  • Participating proactively in meetings with external stakeholders to review materials and collect all relevant and necessary data for ensuring smooth advancement of the collection.
Requirements
  • 4-5 years of experience as a Product Developer within the Fashion industry (preferably with a focus on knitwear and jersey products).
  • Strong understanding of knitwear construction, fabric properties, and garment manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, with the ability to conduct thorough fit and quality assessments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
