Job Description

Renishaw, a global leader in high precision metrology and healthcare technology, is seeking a skilled Encoder Technical Sales Engineer to join its Italian subsidiary, Renishaw Spa. Based in Pianezza, Turin, this role requires providing exceptional pre-sale and post-sale support to customers and partners, as well as working with potential customers to design in Renishaw's range of encoder products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level technical support to customers and partners
  • Discuss quotations and cost estimates with customers
  • Offer application and design training to customers and partners
  • Identify and develop strategies for long-term key projects to achieve sales and growth targets
  • Develop destination markets by scouting for applications and developing relationships
  • Participate in exhibitions and trade events
  • Maintain CRM to support accurate and reliable forecasting and pipeline management
  • Ensure regular product training is maintained
Key Requirements
  • Scientific or engineering university or technical high school degree
  • Background in electronics, mechatronics, and/or sensors
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience in direct sales or technical support
  • Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written)
  • Frequent travel in Italy and occasional travel abroad expected
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • IT literacy
  • Category B driving license
