About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Renishaw. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and sales expertise to our customers and partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and partners on the use and application of Renishaw's encoder products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
  • Conduct product training and demonstrations to customers and partners.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and analysis.
  • Participate in trade shows and exhibitions to promote Renishaw's products and services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities.

Requirements

  • Scientific or engineering degree from a recognized university or technical high school.
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience in direct sales or technical support.
  • Fluent Italian and English language skills (spoken and written).
  • Frequent travel in Italy and occasional travel abroad.
  • Customer-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • IT literacy and category B driving license.
