Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Support Engineer to join our team at Nanovea. As a key member of our sales support team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide high-level technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  2. Instrument Installation and Training: Install and train customers on Nanovea metrology instruments, both internally and externally, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  3. Sample Preparation and Testing: Prepare, document, and organize samples for testing, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  4. Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair damaged or malfunctioning metrology instruments, minimizing downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  5. Documentation and Quality Assurance: Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  6. Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise and support, driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  7. Quality Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, ensuring continuous quality enhancement and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  1. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  2. Language Proficiency: English language proficiency at C2 or C1 level.
  3. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of metrology instruments, materials science, and mechanical engineering principles.
  4. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  5. Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  6. Travel Requirements: Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
Qualifications
  1. Education: Preferred Bachelor's degree in Materials, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Language Skills: Preferred Italian language proficiency at B1 level or higher.
  3. Experience: Preferred 1-3 years of related experience in customer service or client management.
  4. Other Requirements: Valid passport, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50+ lbs.
