Key Responsibilities:- Implement and administer safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate hazards and prevent accidents.
- Develop and maintain safety and environmental procedures, policies, and training programs.
- Collaborate with plant staff to identify and address safety and environmental concerns.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to employees on safety and environmental matters.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety or environmental role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- B.S. in Engineering, Health Sciences, Occupational Safety, Environmental, or other related field.
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies and standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO, RCRA, etc.).
- Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001, OSHA VPP, ISO45001).
