About the Role

As a Global Business Development Expert at Gartner, you will be responsible for expanding our net new client base by identifying key buying centers within assigned geographical territories. Your primary focus will be on driving business development through leveraging best practices, building relationships with clients, and collaborating with internal resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage industry insights to drive new business opportunities
  • Build and manage lists of new individuals and clients to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with internal resources to prioritize and penetrate key accounts
  • Focus on net new logos and client accounts
  • Utilize account planning and time management tools to drive revenue growth
  • Establish and maintain executive relationships with clients
  • Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 6-10 years of proven consultative sales experience in high technology (services or software) to large multinational companies
  • Ability to build credibility quickly with new clients
  • Proven experience in prospecting and developing new business
  • Proven experience in closing enterprise-wide complex sales solutions
  • Ability to articulate a strong value proposition at the executive level
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills at an executive level
  • Fluency in English

What We Offer
