The Role: Spare Parts Manager

The Spare Parts Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient supply of spare parts to customers. This position requires strong coordination and supervisory skills to manage activities related to spare parts shipments, ensuring compliance with required quantities and timescales.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategies for spare parts supply chain optimization, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
  2. Manage customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty through effective communication and issue resolution.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of spare parts.
  6. Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  7. Develop and implement pricing policies for spare parts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  8. Coordinate with production planning teams to ensure accurate forecasting and scheduling of spare parts production.
  9. Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of spare parts.
  10. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
  11. Lead and develop a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and team success.
Requirements:
  • Degree in management, mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
  • Previous experience in service or spare parts management in plant or machine manufacturing companies.
  • Proven experience in supplier management.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
