About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Demand & Distribution Planner to join our dynamic team in Milan. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor production deliveries and shipment distribution on a daily basis to ensure timely delivery of goods to our stores.
  • Support the daily stock allocation process, interacting with production teams, customer service, and logistics to ensure accurate replenishment of seasonal and permanent products.
  • Prepare weekly and periodical reports on production advancement and delivery status, detecting potential issues and proactively acting to resolve them.
  • Define forecasts about shipping volumes at multiple levels, recommending adjustments when needed to optimize our distribution chain.
  • Use and maintain our planning software, analyzing output and ensuring the overall reliability of our systems.
  • Support the optimization of existing processes and tools, and contribute to the development of new ones.
  • Monitor weekly/monthly KPIs related to logistics and support the development of action plans and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and a passion for numbers.
  • Ability to work with a consistent amount of data in a meaningful manner.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, with Power BI a plus.
  • Proactivity in solving problems and a flexible, open-minded approach to work.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems, such as Stealth, is highly appreciated.
