Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Development Manager to join our team in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing utility-scale agro-PV projects, working closely with the Project Director and Country Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all necessary activities for the successful development of solar projects, ensuring compliance with RP Global's technical and economic standards.
  • Support the Country Manager/Project Directors with planning and monitoring activities, tracking major tasks during the development phase.
  • Lead and manage relations with third parties and co-developers, ensuring agro-PV projects are developed in line with RP Global's standards.
  • Negotiate preliminary land agreements and ensure contracts align with RP Global's criteria.
  • Draft and assess preliminary layouts, offering technical solutions to maximize project development and optimization.
  • Critically assess technical documentation prepared by co-developers, delivering high-quality outputs in line with BAT and international/national technical frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relations with local stakeholders, including landowners and local partners.
  • Proactively identify and secure land plots for agro-PV project implementation.
  • Secure economical MV/HV grid connections and manage application procedures with local DNO/TSO.
  • Lead and coordinate the design process of MV/HV substations, participating in the 'Tavolo tecnico' with the TSO.
  • Report periodically to the Project Director and Holding team, applying RP Global's quality control procedures and H&S policy.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree (Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Energy Engineering preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of technical guidelines applied to PV projects in Italy.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in solar-PV projects, preferably as a Development Project Manager.
  • High communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
