About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Infrastructure Operations team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving a range of datacenter infrastructure issues, including hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair hardware and network problems
  • Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
  • Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required
  • Work rotating shifts, including weekends, to maintain the 24/7 data center environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • IT hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Completed formal education or training in an IT-related field
  • A good command of English
Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome applicants with:

  • Diploma or equivalent formal qualification in an IT-related field
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and experience with network protocols and in Data Center environments
