We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Calcinate plant in BG, responsible for customer management, operational management, quality performance, engineering, Health&Safety, Security, and Environmental management. The successful candidate will provide regular performance updates to STERIS Managers/Directors and ensure compliance with company and legal regulations.

Duties

  • Develop and enforce a safety culture, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Senior Sales Managers to manage existing and new customers, driving customer satisfaction.
  • Lead continuous improvement of business processes and activities, aligning with STERIS world-class safety objectives and Quality Management System.
  • Manage and develop a team of 20+ staff, allocating resources and assigning duties to achieve commercial and business objectives.
  • Ensure the business operates within and towards STERIS Corporate vision and global objectives, including LEAN, 5S, Sustainability, and One Team One Goal strategies.
  • Apply STERIS Values, culture, and ethos in managing the business, its customers, and staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proven technical capability
