Job Title: Sales Manager

Marriott International is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities, ensuring business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  • Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and effective turnover to Event Management.
  • Participate in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked, including generating proposal, writing contract, and customer correspondence.
Requirements:
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or related professional area.
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year of experience in sales and marketing or related professional area.
