Role Overview

This role focuses on the sales and design of comprehensive solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of medium to large-scale clients within the public sector. You will be responsible for managing both existing and prospective clients, engaging in pre-sales, sales, and post-sales activities.
Your responsibilities will include establishing connections with customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants and marketing departments during the pre-sales phase. You will create customized proposals for Vodafone's offerings, employing a consultative approach to identify customer needs and potential growth areas, while also managing negotiations during the sales process. Additionally, monitoring customer satisfaction will be a key aspect of your role.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients, presenting the full range of Vodafone products and services tailored to meet their specific requirements and achieve personal sales targets. Foster strong teamwork to enhance overall results.

• Cultivate relationships with clients at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.

• Deliver high-value consultancy to clients, recommending the most effective solutions to ensure efficiency and quality in their processes, ultimately leading to complete customer satisfaction.

• Actively contribute to the enhancement of sales practices and efficiency for Vodafone's offerings by sharing best practices and proposing innovative solutions and services. • Meet sales objectives for assigned Local Government clients by creating detailed sales strategies, accurate forecasts, and a commitment to achieving results.

Required Skills and Experience


• Proven experience in managing complex client relationships.

• Relevant technical sales expertise and familiarity with the Local Government sales process.

Essential Qualifications


• At least 5 years of sales experience in complex international environments, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Local Public Administrations.

• Familiarity with public procurement processes.

• Understanding of purchasing practices within Public Administrations is a significant advantage.

• Proficiency in English and native-level Italian.

• Experience in B2B sales.

• Background in selling solutions, IT, and ICT services is a plus.
