Accounting Assistant Job Description

Tyvak International S.R.L., a leading innovator in the satellite industry, is seeking a skilled Accounting Assistant to join their Finance Office. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in managing the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Assist in booking and reconciling company credit cards and related bank statements.
  • Reconcile employees' travel expenses and reimbursements.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting, adhering to relevant accounting standards.
  • Perform other accounting tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Belonging to protected categories (L.68/99) is mandatory.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with Genya software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IT GAAP/US GAAP is a plus).
  • Fluent/good English is required (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
Contract Details:
  • Temporary contract - 12 months with the possibility of extension.
  • Part-time (21 hours per week).
