Programmable Solution Architect

Envolve Consulting is seeking a skilled Programmable Solution Architect to lead the development of innovative electronics solutions for the HVAC market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining product requirements, collaborating with customers and divisions, and breaking down complex product requirements into functional blocks. Your expertise in software and firmware development will enable you to contribute to writing code, assembling functional blocks, and validating complete solutions. Additionally, you will assist customers during the startup phase and work closely with sales, solutions, service delivery, marketing, and engineering teams to build a growing network of happy, referenceable customers for our solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Defining product requirements in collaboration with other divisions and departments and major customers
• Participating in research activities for the optimization of algorithms and solutions
• Having an end-to-end vision of the entire HVAC product portfolio, with the ability and authority to decide where to implement the required solution in the most suitable platform to satisfy market demand
• Managing a team of software and firmware developers, educating and leading them in the development of requested solutions
• Defining code writing standards, validation criteria, and automatic test methods in collaboration with the product test manager
• Ensuring the software and firmware architectures of the HVAC product portfolio are robust, reliable, maintainable, and agile
• Defining the reference hardware for the HVAC product portfolio in collaboration with colleagues responsible for hardware design and product management
• Contributing to writing software and firmware and integrating functional blocks
• Training Tech Service, System Integrators, Product Managers, and customers on products and their functionality
• Promoting iPRO as a programmable platform for the HVAC market

Required qualifications and experience include:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
• +5 years of software and firmware experience in the HVACR industry
• Expertise and knowledge of electronic controls
• Expertise and knowledge of HVACR components, applications, and systems
• Fluency in Italian and English, with a third language as a plus
• Minimum availability to travel to customers, customer sites, and other divisions
