Job Description:

Envolve Consulting is seeking a skilled Programmable Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our electronics business, you will be responsible for interacting with customers and other divisions to understand and contribute to the realization of product requirements.

You will break down product requirements into functional blocks that our software/firmware developers will translate into functional code. Your role will involve assisting the team during development, contributing to writing code, assembling functional blocks, validating the complete solution, and assisting customers during the startup phase.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other divisions and departments to define product requirements.
  • Participate in research activities to optimize algorithms and solutions.
  • Have an end-to-end vision of the entire HVAC product portfolio and decide where to implement solutions.
  • Manage a team of software/firmware developers and educate them on development best practices.
  • Define code writing standards, validation criteria, and automatic test methods.
  • Ensure the software/firmware architectures of the HVAC product portfolio are robust, reliable, maintainable, and agile.
  • Define reference hardware for the HVAC product portfolio in collaboration with hardware design and product management teams.
  • Contribute to writing software/firmware and integrate functional blocks.
  • Train Tech Service, System Integrators, Product Managers, and customers on products and their functionality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • +5 years of software/firmware experience in the HVACR industry.
  • Expertise and knowledge of electronic controls and HVACR components, applications, and systems.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, with a 3rd language as a plus.
