Accountant Job Opportunity

A reputable audit firm in Nicosia is seeking an experienced Accountant to provide high-quality accounting services to international clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive accounting, VAT, and VIES services to a portfolio of clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to obtain necessary information for accounting and AML procedures.
  • Analyze complex financial reports and records.
  • Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare accounts and management information.
  • Prepare General Ledgers and Trial Balances on set time periods.
  • Assist in the preparation of accounting documents and engagement letters.
  • Support auditors during the audit process.
Candidate Profile:
  • Hold a degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and English language.
  • Very good knowledge of General Basic Cyprus Tax Legislation.
  • Knowledge of Caseware and e-soft is an advantage.
