Accountant Job Opportunity

A reputable audit firm in Nicosia is seeking an experienced Accountant to provide high-quality accounting services to international clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive accounting, VAT, and VIES services to a portfolio of clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather information for accounting and AML procedures.
  • Analyze complex financial reports and records.
  • Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare accounts and management information.
  • Prepare General Ledgers and Trial Balances on set time periods.
  • Assist in the preparation of engagement letters, company documentation, and other accounting evidence.
  • Support auditors during the audit process by providing information and responding to queries.
Candidate Profile:
  • Hold a degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent English language skills; knowledge of Russian is an asset.
  • Very good knowledge of General Basic Cyprus Tax Legislation.
  • Familiarity with Caseware and e-soft is a plus.
