Our company has experienced growth in the Additive Manufacturing sector, leading us to seek a new teammate as an Additive Manufacturing Service Engineer, based at our site in Pianezza, Italy.

Job Description

As an Additive Manufacturing Service Engineer, you will provide high-quality service and support to every Renishaw AM machine customer, enabling them to maximize the expected benefits from their investment in a Renishaw product. This opportunity would suit someone with servicing experience within Machine Tools, Printer industries, or other industries where electro-mechanical engineering support is required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of AM systems
  • Providing training for customer AM machine operators
  • Service and support for the Renishaw AM product line: this includes maintenance of and upgrades to electromechanical, and/or machine software and optical assemblies
  • Regular travel in Italy and some travel abroad

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering background, preferably with experience in machinery service and maintenance
  • At least 2 years of experience in field service, in a similar role
  • Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Commercial awareness
  • Methodical and systematic approach to problem solving
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • IT literacy
  • Category B driving license
