Renishaw Spa is the Italian subsidiary of Renishaw, a leading international company in the Additive Manufacturing sector. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Additive Manufacturing Sales Engineer.



Job Description


The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the market for Renishaw AM technology, interacting closely with prospects, customers, and partners throughout the full sales cycle. This includes market research, equipment sales, service, and upgrades. A significant portion of the job involves working with potential customers to help incorporate AM into their manufacturing processes.



Main Responsibilities:



  • Drive users and prospects towards adopting Renishaw AM technology
  • Develop destination markets by scouting for applications and developing relationships
  • Identify and develop strategies for long-term key projects to achieve sales and growth targets
  • Provide and discuss quotations and cost estimates
  • Participate in exhibitions and trade events
  • Maintain CRM to a level which supports accurate and reliable forecasting and pipeline management
  • E nsure appropriate and regular own product training is maintained


Salary and Benefits


We offer a competitive salary, estimated at around €70,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including a permanent and full-time contract, smart working arrangements, a company car, and opportunities for professional development.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • University or high school degree, mainly in a technical subject or economics
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience of direct sales of capital equipment
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)
  • Frequent travel in Italy and occasionally abroad expected
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • IT literacy
  • Category B driving license
