About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Middle Office team as an Underwriting Assistant P&C, Construction - Operations. This role will provide administrative support for the management of insurance contracts lifecycle on complex risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage administrative processes related to the complete policy lifecycle, ensuring a high level of quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Verify the conditions of acceptance of customer requests, interacting with external subjects (brokers) and internal subjects (underwriters, network partners).
  • Act as a point of reference for external and internal subjects, as well as colleagues abroad, for the management of international customers.
  • Monitor, plan, and issue contractual documents, coordinating with supervisors, teams, and internal and external subjects of the company.
  • Manage and monitor the evolution of performance through data provided by company systems, in terms of quality, speed, and customer needs.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of insurance policy forms and policy administration, with experience in working on Global insurance programs in Property and Casualty.
  • Knowledge of the insurance regulatory system and Underwriting process, including Submission/Quotes, Risk specifics, basic pricing principles, Global Programs, structuring, compliance principles, Reinsurance concepts, and Domestic market specifics.
  • Awareness of compliance procedures and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English languages.
  • Experience in administration/client service functions with negotiation skills for external stakeholders (brokers, insureds).
  • Self-organization skills to manage assigned portfolios of accounts, to-do's, and working to various deadlines, keeping track of in- and external correspondence.
  • MS Office knowledge, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work in a team with people from different skills, expertises, locations, and cultures to achieve collective goals.
  • Adaptability to changes, willingness to learn, and appetite for the unknown.
