Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in the role of Medium Voltage Drives Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing technical specifications to support large electric motor and drive system proposals/orders in designated markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesProposal and Contract- Technical Specification Development: Prepare technical specifications for fixed and adjustable speed motors and AC/DC drives systems to meet clients' requirements and effectively communicate these requirements to clients and internal engineering teams.
- Supplier Evaluation: Evaluate supplier proposals to determine the best technical and most economical solution for the application.
- System Integration: Support system integration activities, including specification and selection of e-houses, external transformers, PLCs, instrumentation, etc.
- Cost Element Preparation: Prepare detailed cost elements for technical specifications during the quotation stage.
- Proposal Development: Provide technical guidance in the preparation, review, and final commercial proposal generation to clients.
- Proposal Leadership: Lead technical and commercial proposal development for small projects with limited supervision.
- System Integration Documentation: Support system integration documentation during the project execution phase.
- Client Feedback: Identify enhanced product or service feature needs by soliciting feedback from clients.
- Technical Approaches: Design competitive and viable technical approaches to resolve client issues.
- Product Feedback: Feedback product and service deficiencies to business unit management for continuous improvement.
- Component Specifications: Prepare specifications for required components.
- Presentation Delivery: Prepare and deliver presentations at technical conferences and meetings with clients, at client sites as necessary or assigned.
- Brochure Review: Review brochures for technical accuracy.
- Business Growth: Identify and suggest new products and applications to drive business growth.
- Industry Trends: Monitor industry trends to recommend new product and service features.
- Competitive Analysis: Track competitive environment to identify new products and technology and provide comparative analyses to the commercial and R&D teams.
- Competitor Analysis: Track competitor's offerings, assess client situations, and propose competitive options applicable to the client's individual needs.
- Task Execution: Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager.
- Advice Provision: Give manager best advice.
- Work Notification: Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified.
- Collaboration: Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Engineer with a strong background in medium voltage drives and motor systems. The ideal candidate will have:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering or equivalent via education and/or work experience.
- Experience: 2 years systems or application engineering experience in medium voltage drives and motor systems.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success as a contributing member in project teams.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrated successful and positive leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated innovative problem-solving skills.
- Presentation Skills: Demonstrated presentation skills.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Travel Requirements: Availability to travel domestically and internationally frequently, with limited notice.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English language.
