Job Summary:

The Security Manager will support the delivery and implementation of all elements of the corporate security program at client locations within a defined area of responsibility. The Manager will respond to, escalate, and track operational security concerns through to completion while working closely with the guardforce to deliver best-in-class security services.

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Deliver day-to-day security operations for a diverse portfolio of sites and customers with unique requirements.
  • Implement security plans, policies, and programs in support of the team and organizational goals.
  • Earn trust through key customer and stakeholder engagements and liaison with external partners.
  • Build trusting and collaborative relationships with internal customers by delivering best-in-class services focused on enhancing the safety and security of the client's people and business.
  • Track, monitor, and improve guardforce vendor performance, operational efficiency, security system health, and site performance.
  • Conduct drills, tabletop exercises, and other security readiness activities across sites.
  • Conduct comprehensive site security assessments and audits.
  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate any potential gaps in security controls.
  • Deliver project work packages to ensure achievement of milestones to meet team goals.
  • Conduct initial incident investigations, special event coordination, and other safety, security, or business continuity initiatives.
  • Align and implement Corporate Security metrics, goals, and strategic direction across functional areas in support of overall team mission.
  • Serve as the trusted security advisor and subject matter expert within area of responsibility through high-quality communication and strong briefing skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in criminal justice, security, law enforcement, internal relations, or business management.
  • At least three years of global corporate security experience including service provider/vendor management.
  • Proficient English skills; written and verbal.
  • Able to manage daily tactical operations while supporting the development of strategic program plans.
  • Able to work confidentially and sensitively while supporting investigations.
  • Attentive detail and accuracy.
  • Able to carry out responsibilities with little supervision.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Client-oriented and results-driven.
  • Able to analyze complex situations and make well-informed decisions with limited supervision.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions.
  • Regular computer usage.
  • Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including after-hours to meet demands of globally dispersed team.
  • Able to travel up to 20-30%, sometimes with little to no notice.
