Job Title: Executive Director - Housing and Development Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead our premier organization in housing and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading and managing agencies with diverse portfolios, and will possess the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and vision for the organization, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
2. Housing and Development Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of housing financing approaches, public and private partnerships, and housing portfolio management.
3. Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, agency team members, and external partners, including government officials, non-profit organizations, and private sector entities.
4. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations, including HUD rules and regulations, employment laws, and audit and financial management requirements.
5. Community Engagement: Foster a cooperative relationship with the media, achieve community leader status, and participate in speaking engagements to promote the organization's image.

Requirements:

We are seeking a candidate with a Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field, and at least 10 years of professional managerial experience in urban and community development, housing finance, urban planning, or public housing management.

The ideal candidate will possess superior communication and interpersonal skills, solid technological skills, and the ability to implement new strategies and systems as needed.
