Executive Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our agency in achieving its mission of providing affordable housing and upward mobility opportunities for residents of our communities.

• Lead and manage the agency with a diverse portfolio of activities, leveraging personal knowledge and expertise, as well as the leadership of a highly qualified senior leadership team.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the agency's goals, including housing financing approaches, public and private partnerships, and managing the finances of its housing portfolio.
• Communicate effectively with residents, agency team members, and their representatives, instilling a sense of dignity and value for their contributions, input, experiences, and role as contributors to their personal success and the success of the agency.
• Work closely with the Metro Nashville government and its local officials, as well as with the nonprofit, development, and for-profit community, and with labor unions and their representatives.
• Ensure agency compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations, including HUD rules and regulations, employment laws and regulations, audit and financial management requirements, procurement regulations, and Open Record Law requirements.

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field.
• 10+ years of closely related professional managerial expertise.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid technological skills and the ability to implement new strategies and systems as needed.
