About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Planning and Scheduling Expert to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path analysis and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project schedules align with business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including delays, cost overruns, and scope changes.
  • Develop and implement project management processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Provide project schedule updates and reports to stakeholders, including project managers, executives, and customers.
  • Conduct project schedule analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain project schedule templates and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the rail or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools, including MS Project, Primavera, and OdyC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
