About the Role

Alstom Gruppe is seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team. As a Project Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by developing and managing project schedules, identifying and mitigating risks, and optimizing schedules to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and update project schedules using industry-leading tools and techniques, ensuring alignment with company procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to integrate inputs, define project schedule interfaces, and optimize schedules for on-time delivery.
  • Analyze tender documentation to understand schedule management requirements, including schedule structure, reporting constraints, and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and manage project scheduling documentation, including tender schedules, project time management plans, and schedule-related reports.
  • Identify critical paths and potential delays in complex, interlinked schedules, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Lead regular project schedule review sessions, challenging stakeholders' assumptions about time performance and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support the Contract Manager in protecting the company's rights in time-related disputes and perform delay analysis.
Requirements
  • Engineering or Business degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in full-time planning and scheduling role, preferably in the industrial or construction sector.
  • Knowledge of different scheduling tools and techniques, including EVM.
  • Proficiency in one scheduling tool (e.g., OdyC, Primavera) and familiarity with an additional scheduling software tool (e.g., Kinaxis, MS Project, TILOS).
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of time-related contractual obligations and principles of delay analysis.
  • Basic comprehension of railway industry products and technologies.
  • Curiosity, the drive to learn, and the readiness to share knowledge with others.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; an effective team player.
  • Ability to challenge and guide teams and be proactive in proposing solutions.
  • Adaptability in a multi-cultural and rapidly changing environment.
