About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Night Shift team at our Station site. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring the efficient fulfillment and dispatch of orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of Area Managers to achieve business objectives
  • Lead operational teams on a shift, addressing issues and positively impacting site performance
  • Analyze shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence
  • Collaborate with support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security
  • Design and deliver initiatives to improve operational performance
A Day in the Life

You will lead shifts at our operational site, working closely with various teams to drive business results. Your day will involve meetings, performance analysis, and mentoring your team to achieve excellence.

About the Team

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) handles last-mile delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver millions of products to our customers. Our goal is to provide a seamless delivery experience and roll out global delivery solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in the local language
  • Relevant experience in using data to influence business decisions
  • Relevant experience in key areas of production and supply chains
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
  • Experience in a similar logistical working environment
  • Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite in a professional environment
