About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Insights Specialist to join our Shell Business Operations team in Kuala Lumpur. As a key member of our People Insights Operations team, you will play a critical role in delivering data-driven insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Download data requests for reporting needs and collaborate with Ops and technical teams to find permanent solutions for data issues.
  • Deliver process-related ad hoc or periodic reports via Salesforce and advise stakeholders on self-service reports.
  • Assist the team in producing bespoke and accurate data packs, involving complex analysis and visualization of data.
  • Generate data in an accurate, timely, clear, and concise manner.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure data issues are regularly raised and updates shared.
  • Agilely pick up data reporting needs and deliver as per agreed timelines and SLAs.
  • Share best practices to enable and encourage a work-out-loud culture and contribute to capability building for People Insights Operations.
What We Need From You
  • Familiarity with core HR processes and systems.
  • Support the People Insights Operations team in delivering reports.
  • Proven track record of working successfully with virtual teams and stakeholders.
  • Passionate about finding permanent data solutions to ensure accurate and timely reporting deliverables.
  • Learner mindset and respectful of various cultures and styles of working.
  • Good presentation skills and stakeholder engagement.
  • Able to work with numerous and concurrent deadlines to deliver solutions with a high level of accuracy with minimum supervision.
