Job Title: Thermal Architect

At Vertiv, we are seeking a skilled Thermal Architect to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our Application Engineering Team and Strategic KAs Sales Team, you will be responsible for leading our Thermal Management products, including Chiller, Fan Walls, and liquid cooling solutions.

Job Overview:

The Thermal Architect will hold accountability for technical support and commercial approach on all Thermal products. You will work closely with Key Account Directors and Key Account Application Engineers to facilitate the needs of our customers through a structured approach that offers the best balance of relationship management and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Sales: Develop and maintain a network of consultants to support key accounts in EMEA, focusing on Chillers, CRAC/CRAH, CDU, Pumped Refrigeration, and In Row Cooling.
  • FATs and Other Duties: Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and other duties as required.
  • Drive Growth: Drive growth in Thermal sales and profitability for both Products and Services, focusing on Vertiv end-to-end Thermal solutions.
  • Customer Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of customers, consisting of top EMEA clients, and build relationships with consultants and customers.
  • Pipeline Generation: Secure growth in pipeline generation and maintain a healthy balanced pipeline.
  • Commercial Positioning: Collaborate with the account director to manage commercial positioning, actively participating, supporting, and coordinating with the rest of the sales teams in bids.
Requirements:
  • Education: Engineering background or equivalent education with proven field experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Thermal Management products and installation, especially for Datacenter or equivalent. Additional value in experience on liquid cooling.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English written and verbal required.
  • IT Skills: Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Customer Orientation: Strong customer and sales orientation.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and ability to build strong networks internally within the Vertiv community.
