About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager Construction to join our team at Edp Renováveis. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our onshore wind and solar PV projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Construction Management: Manage the preparation of construction projects from investment memo to start of construction, including capex estimation, planning, and constructability review.
  • Construction Management: Oversee the construction of projects from start of construction to commercial operation date, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as quality and schedule requirements.
  • Pre-Operations Management: Manage the handover of projects from construction to operation and maintenance, ensuring compliance with company processes and procedures.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support during due diligence processes, site visits, and constructability reviews.
  • Strategic Support: Contribute to the definition and improvement of construction vision, strategy, policies, and procedures to achieve construction excellence and boost performance.
Requirements
  • Academic Level: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably in electrical or civil works or similar.
  • Professional Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction of onshore wind farms, solar PV, substations, and high-voltage lines.
  • Specific Knowledge: Construction management, project management, onshore wind and solar PV regulations, electric and civil works, MS Project, MS Office, and AutoCad GIS.
Skills and Competences
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to create structure and order, boost efficiency, and prioritize tasks.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make rational decisions.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Italian and English.
