Site Manager - Progeco Next

Progeco Next, a leading international group active in the Oil & Gas, Green Energy, and Petrolchimico sectors since 1979, is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete organization and management of the construction site in cooperation with the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish an adequate site organization, including offices and equipment, in cooperation with the Project Manager.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and management for the local construction team, including civil, electrical, and HSE personnel.
  • Support the project team in all site aspects and liaise with other project team members.
  • Ensure and optimize site organization with respect to safety, site cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Act as interface representative on site and liaise with local stakeholders to maintain a good relationship and avoid misunderstandings.
  • Keep a contemporaneous site log book of all events, interruptions, etc. on site that may impact on the project costs or time for completion.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing large construction sites.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to make decisions and give orders to construction team members.
  • Able to liaise with other departments/clients as necessary.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications.
