About the Role

We're seeking a Lead Data Architect AWS to join our team and lead our data and analytics initiatives on the AWS cloud platform.

As a Lead Data Architect AWS, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing key client relationships and driving business growth
  • Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with AWS
  • Leading the AWS Center of Excellence and driving innovation
  • Designing and implementing data platforms on AWS, including Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3
  • Creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture using AWS native services and data management technologies
  • Mentoring and guiding other engineers in coding best practices and problem-solving

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data analytics, preferably in a consulting environment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing a team of BI/data analysts up to senior level
  • Working experience in AWS cloud native environment
  • Experience and knowledge of Big Data Architectures, cloud, and on-premise environments
  • AWS infrastructure and networking working experience
  • AWS Collection Services: Kinesis, Kafka, Database Migration Service
  • AWS main Storage Service: S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB
  • AWS main Compute Service: EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS
  • Experience in building and delivering proofs-of-concept using the most appropriate techniques, data sources, and technologies
  • Working experience in migrating workloads from on-premise to cloud environments
  • Experience in monitoring distributed infrastructure using AWS tools or open-source ones
  • Working experience with Agile Methodology and Kanban
  • Strong data manipulation and BI tools skills
  • Solid stakeholder management skills, with experience dealing with top management
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and strong presence to manage cross-functional teams

Location

Our team is located in various cities across Italy, including Cosenza, Bari, Bologna, Milano, Napoli, Roma, Salerno, and Torino.
