About the Role

We're seeking a Lead Data Architect AWS to join our Data & Intelligence Business Line. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Managing key client relationships and driving business growth.
  2. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with AWS, ensuring seamless collaboration and innovation.
  3. Leading the AWS Center of Excellence, driving best practices and excellence in cloud architecture.
  4. Overseeing Data & Analytics AWS projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  5. Supporting recruitment efforts, identifying and attracting top talent.
  6. Contributing to the development of our value proposition, ensuring it aligns with client needs and market trends.
  7. Supporting the development of skills and capabilities within the team, including:
    1. Designing data platforms on AWS data stores such as Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3.
    2. Designing operations architecture and conducting performance engineering for large-scale data lakes in production environments.
    3. Applying the Well-Architected framework to solution design and implementation.
    4. Creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture by designing and implementing data ingestion solutions on AWS using native services (such as GLUE, Lambda) or data management technologies (such as Talend or Informatica).
    5. Participating in client design workshops and providing trade-offs and recommendations for building solutions.
    6. Mentoring other engineers in coding best practices and problem-solving.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  1. Proven experience in data analytics, preferably from consulting companies.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a team of BI/data analysts up to senior level.
  3. Working experience in AWS cloud-native environments.
  4. Experience and knowledge of Big Data Architectures, cloud, and on-premise solutions.
  5. AWS infrastructure and networking working experience.
  6. AWS Collection Services: Kinesis, Kafka, Database Migration Service.
  7. AWS main Storage Service: S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB.
  8. AWS main Compute Service: EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS.
  9. Experience in building and delivering proofs-of-concept to address specific business needs using the most appropriate techniques, data sources, and technologies.
  10. Working experience in migrating workloads from on-premise to cloud environments.
  11. Experience in monitoring distributed infrastructure using AWS tools or open-source ones (such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack).
  12. Working experience with Agile Methodology and Kanban.
  13. Strong data manipulation and BI tools skills.
  14. Solid stakeholder management skills, with experience dealing with top management to drive various projects.
  15. Proactive in taking initiatives, exceptional problem-solving skills, and strong presence to manage cross-functional teams and execute well in a highly collaborative role.
