Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

About the Role:

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Data Intelligence Line, you will work on AWS Data Platform projects, collaborating with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data acquisition, transformation, and improvement processes to load data into data lakes for analytics and machine learning models.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document best practices and strategies for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Migrate existing infrastructure to a highly available, scalable architecture with zero downtime.
  • Set up monitoring and logging stacks using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using the AWS CI/CD stack and write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or similar.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a cloud native environment, preferably on AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of Big Data Architectures, cloud, and on-premise environments.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless approaches using AWS Lambda.
  • Strong notions of security best practices, including IAM Roles, KMS, and AWS infrastructure and networking.
  • Proven experience in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting, as well as Agile Methodology and Kanban.
  • AWS Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified Developer.
