Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

About the Role:

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Data Intelligence Line, you will work on AWS Data Platform projects, collaborating with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data acquisition, transformation, and improvement processes to load data into data lakes for analytics and machine learning models.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using AWS services such as AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Amazon Redshift.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies to continuously improve data engineering practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud-native environments, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Proven experience with Big Data Architectures, cloud, and on-premise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless approaches using AWS Lambda.
  • Experience with monitoring distributed infrastructure using AWS tools or open-source solutions.
  • Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting.
  • AWS Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified Developer.
