As a Senior Counsel, Contract Negotiations at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's best interests are protected in all contractual agreements. This position requires a high level of expertise in contract negotiation, review, and drafting, with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal advice and support in the drafting, review, and negotiation of agreements with vendors, including clinical and corporate agreements.
- Work independently, except for escalations to the team AD, to ensure timely and effective contract management.
- Handle department matters and general legal concerns raised by internal customers and senior management.
- Develop and deliver legal trainings to business and legal team members.
- Lead the implementation of process improvement opportunities and oversee junior members of the department.
- Law degree required.
- Previous experience with contract negotiations in an international company, with a comparable duration of 2-5 years.
- Advanced level of English.
- Previous experience with legal contracts negotiations within the CRO industry and people management will be considered an advantage.
