Process Engineer/ Launch Management Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer/ Launch Management professional to join our Electronic Systems team at Marelli. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing production allocation and offering coordination, new products manufacturing simultaneous engineering standardization, and industrialization monitoring to ensure a silent launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the reference between Plant and Product Development teams to ensure new products manufacturing simultaneous engineering standards are applied.
  • Validate final Plant Industrial offers in reference to Request For Information/ Request For Quotation to secure new capex avoidance, equipment re-use, and best manufacturing standard solutions.
  • Monitor and report manufacturing needs/risks (capex, areas, saturations, etc.) based on new opportunities to secure further study deployment onsite and with Electronic Systems Advanced Manufacturing Engineering structure.
  • Secure coordination and support in case of new technology application together with ELS Advanced Manufacturing Engineering support.
  • Monitor and report process milestones, process readiness, and baseline process KPIs progress.
  • Monitor and report critical upcoming situations to secure product and process development roadblock avoidance.
  • Guarantee online and/or onsite support for any relevant blocking points or events at risk to secure the right escalation level for a silent launch.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and specifications, internal norms, procedures, and function guidelines.
  • Support project management and plant teams in product change requests and product/process continuous improvement, VAVE, during projects life cycle.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree.
  • More than 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • Strong understanding of production processes.
  • Project management and project governance tool knowledge.
  • Problem-solving approach.
  • Industrial KPIs (OEE, CT, FTQ) knowledge.
  • Ability to translate business needs into strategic action.
  • Drive results, accountability, and ability to enter and solve conflictual situations.
  • Awareness, prioritization, and front-loading orientation.
  • Act as a leader, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
  • Lead inter-functional teams (engineering and manufacturing).
  • Willingness to travel (20%).
