About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to join our team at Hines. As a Community Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our residents and ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the organization of common spaces and services, including event planning and booking of property areas.
  • Assist with operational and commercial responsibilities for the residence, including rent collection and budget management.
  • Ensure a warm and welcoming environment for tenants and visitors, responding to queries and maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and update the web-based safety management system.
  • Establish and develop working relationships with suppliers and contractors, ensuring excellent standards of service.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours rota for emergencies and track reports as requested by the Operations Manager.
  • Manage records of maintenance requests and interventions, ensuring quality control of cleaning and general SOP standards.
  • Collect and deliver parcels for tenants, providing exceptional customer service and communication.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in hospitality from an accredited institution or equivalent years of direct experience required.
  • Three or more years of experience in the hospitality industry with responsibility roles.
  • Strong leasing skills and a good working understanding of tenancy management and housing legislation.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to write reports and present performance indicators.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including shifts, and lift parcels weighing less than 10kg.
