Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Media Assistant to join our team at Villanova University. As a Media Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the marketing and branding efforts of the Office of Student Involvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote student involvement and engagement.
  • Manage and maintain the Office of Student Involvement's social media presence, including creating engaging content and responding to comments and messages.
  • Design and produce visual content, including graphics, videos, and photos, to support marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director to develop and implement social media strategies and content calendars.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss progress and plan future initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools, such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator.
  • Interest in social media trends and design.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
  • Skills in videography, photography, and editing.
Working Conditions

This is a paid hourly position based out of the Office of Student Involvement in Dougherty Hall.
