We are seeking an Area Sales Professional for the Central-North region of Italy, to be employed under a permanent contract in Bologna or Firenze within the Smart Infrastructure Business Unit of Electrical Products (EP) . This role will focus on the sales of electrical products specifically tailored for the Infrastructure Market.

Your Responsibilities

As an Area Sales Professional, your primary objective will be to manage the Electric Products portfolio and its associated business segment through strategic planning and market assessment, ensuring the attainment of sales objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and selling Electrical Products within the infrastructure sector to enhance the market presence of the entire low voltage portfolio;
  • Utilizing CRM tools – Salesforce – to provide data for forecasts and planning, preparing reports and dashboards to analyze sales trends against budget, aiding management in setting annual forecasts;
  • Evaluating specific market conditions and developing a robust network of stakeholders, influencing key decision-makers among customers;
  • Identifying opportunities for electrical products and expanding the portfolio;
  • Establishing customer connections, fostering and maintaining a customer-centric network, and providing insights into customer perspectives during innovation processes;
  • Collaborating with marketing and business development teams to present a comprehensive view of current offerings and opportunities;
  • Contributing to achieving the annual sales targets for the Infrastructure segment within BU EP.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in sales of Low Voltage Components within the Infrastructure market;
  • Familiarity with Low Voltage and Medium Voltage panels and electrical distribution;
  • Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation, or a Technical High School Diploma;
  • Willingness to undertake frequent national business travel, with occasional international travel;
  • A commitment to continuous personal and professional growth;
  • Respect for individual uniqueness and a collaborative spirit;
  • Proficiency in English and Italian;
  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
