Job Overview

Tyvak International, a leading provider of innovative satellite solutions, is seeking an experienced Product Assurance and Quality Control Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle, from design to in-orbit operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Assembly, Integration, and Test activities to guarantee compliance with established quality standards;
  • Participate in customer project reviews, providing expert insights on product assurance and quality control processes;
  • Develop and implement key inspection points during AIT, ensuring timely identification of potential issues;
  • Maintain and update product and quality assurance policies and procedures, aligning them with industry best practices;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements;
  • Analyze non-conformances, deviations, and critical items, taking corrective actions to prevent recurrence;
  • Prepare high-quality documentation for program reviews, including declared lists, nonconformance reports, and mission-specific PA plans;
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving Design, Assembly, and Quality Processes optimization;
  • Evaluate and select external providers, ensuring their capabilities meet project requirements;
  • Provide guidance on Mechanical Parts, Materials, Processes, and Components control, adhering to required standards;
  • Work closely with hardware, software, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure seamless collaboration and effective process execution.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in aerospace or related industries;
  • Bachelor's/MSc degree in Aerospace Engineering, Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent;
  • In cases without a degree, a maximum of 5 years' experience in PA/QA roles is necessary, focusing on the activities mentioned above;
  • Previous experience in aerospace, automotive, or engineering industries, with a focus on process designing and managing Quality Management Systems;
  • Familiarity with ECSS-Q standards and Quality Standards (ISO9001, AS/EN9100, etc.) is highly desirable;
  • Experience with spacecraft and/or launch vehicle control systems, Small satellite or CubeSat knowledge is strongly preferred;
  • Familiarity with standard industrial quality control tools or Atlassian suite is a plus;
  • Proficient use of written and oral English language;
  • Good communication skills and teamwork spirit;
  • Analytical abilities, aptitude for critical thinking, and attention to detail;
  • Strong problem-solving and stress management skills;
  • Availability for short national and/or international travel;
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
