About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Account Manager to join our team at Aspen Technology, Inc. to drive sales growth and expand our presence in the energy utility industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth and expand our presence in the energy utility industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at energy utility companies.
- Articulate the value proposition of our Digital Grid Management solutions to customers and lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to customers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of our business.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in software sales, with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
- Strategic sales thinker with the ability to see how existing customer solutions can be repeated and leveraged within an industry sector.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Self-discipline and motivation, with the ability to set goals that exceed expectations.
- Travel is expected 50% of the time.
