Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified HSE Technician to oversee health and safety measures during the assembly operations at wind farm projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor compliance with safety protocols throughout various assembly phases.
- Ensure adherence to the Client’s Health and Safety Plan and Procedures.
- Collect and verify essential safety documentation for contracts and personnel involved in the assembly, including training records and medical certifications.
- Coordinate with the local operational structure to align with the work schedule.
- Have the authority to halt operations if a serious or imminent risk to worker health is identified, and communicate such risks effectively.
- Document activities performed in accordance with the client’s management system formats.
- Engage in the investigation of any incidents involving both internal staff and client-hired personnel.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in Health and Safety.
- Demonstrated experience as an EHS Advisor.
- Experience in project environments such as wind farms, construction, or civil engineering.
- Proficient in managing HSE Plans, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in supervising HSE aspects and reviewing subcontractor documentation and permits.
- Fluent in English.
- Familiarity with Wind Farm projects or similar scopes (GWO certification preferred).
Employment Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Contract type: Freelance.
- Project duration: 4 months or longer.
- Night shift availability required.
