Senior Underwriter Financial Lines Specialist

Intesa Sanpaolo Assicura, a leading insurance company within the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, is seeking a highly qualified professional to join its Corporate team as a Senior Underwriter FINPRO. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities- Developing and implementing underwriting strategies for Financial Lines products, working closely with actuaries and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate product delivery;
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and financial analyses to determine the most appropriate pricing for complex risks;
- Creating and negotiating insurance contracts and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards;
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform underwriting decisions;
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement underwriting tools and processes;
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on risk management and underwriting best practices;
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive;
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and retention;
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks and opportunities to improve underwriting efficiency and effectiveness;
- Contributing to the development of the company's underwriting strategy and goals.
- 8-10 years of experience in underwriting Financial Lines products;
- Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and industry standards;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Fluency in Italian and English;
- Relevant academic qualifications and certifications.
